Community Guide to Gnesta Municipality

The position is located at the municipal executive office, which is tasked with leading and coordinating the municipality's operations. Here, you will find common functions such as HR, finance, communication, IT, and committee administration. We also coordinate work within culture, leisure, business, and tourism. The office works on behalf of the municipal executive board.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a community guide, you are a key person in the development of Gnesta Municipality's service center. The role is broad and dynamic, and you will meet our citizens via phone, in-person visits, and email, focusing on high accessibility, quality, and professional service.
Your main task is to accurately answer questions by seeking information, registering cases, and providing clear responses, guidance, and advice, often in situations where the pace is high and needs vary. You will also work on administrative preparations related to various cases.
An important part of the role is to collaborate with the municipality's operations to strengthen and develop services for citizens. This may involve proposing improved communication, for example, on the website or social media, actively engaging with citizens in digital channels, or updating information on the municipality's website.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with relevant education in municipal assignments, service, or communication, preferably with a focus on service and interaction. You have documented experience in case handling within municipal operations or customer service/support, which is a requirement for the position.
You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
It is advantageous if you have worked with change processes and are familiar with case management systems such as Artvise, Castor, and Future.
You possess good digital skills, are confident in information retrieval, and have the ability to work professionally in social media. As a person, you have a strong sense of service, excellent collaboration skills, and an ability to build good relationships with people in various situations. You are development-oriented, proactive, and have the ability to see the big picture while being solution-oriented and taking initiative when needed.
