About the position
The Mission Specialist OR6 (US) is a specialist officer in flying service and is part of a helicopter crew. - During flights, be responsible for passengers and/or cargo and assume one or more roles such as door gunner, medic, or surface rescuer. If you are not already trained as a medic, you may be required to become one.
- In a couple of years, the position may allow for development in various areas of interest such as survival, SERE, communications, and security in consultation with your immediate supervisor.
- Be responsible for exercise planning and live firing.
The position requires that you are largely self-sufficient and can take responsibility for planning and carrying out your physical training as well as other annual recurring requirements related to flight service.
