Bro Mälarstrand school in Bro is a school that the municipality has temporarily taken over from Jensen education.

The school consists of 120 students in grades F and 1. We are looking for substitute teachers who can work at short notice during the absence of regular staff.

Job Description

As a substitute teacher with us, you step in during the absence of regular staff and support the operations both during the school day and in after-school care. The work involves:

• Being a safe adult support for students.
• Assisting the teacher in the classroom, e.g., by supporting students with tasks, maintaining calm and structure, and contributing to a good learning environment.
• If necessary, teaching the class based on prepared plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Participating in after-school activities, both planned and spontaneous, and contributing to a meaningful and safe afternoon for the students.
• Creating positive relationships, interacting with students in a respectful and clear manner, and contributing to safety and a conducive working environment.
• Being flexible, taking responsibility, and quickly adapting to the day's routines and needs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a high school education.
• Has a genuine interest in working with children.
• Is engaged, responsible, and flexible.
• Can work on short notice.
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish.
