About the Job

Montessori Mondial is part of AcadeMedia's primary schools and consists of 11 schools that conduct modern, results-oriented Montessori pedagogy. Montessori Mondial Lidingö is a K–9 school with about 150 students and a preschool with about 50 children. We are located in a fantastic environment just a stone's throw from Grönsta Gärde, only 10 minutes by bus from Ropsten.

We are now looking for a licensed teacher in Swedish, SO, and English who wants to challenge and support our students in their knowledge development. The position is aimed at grades 4–6 where you will work as a subject teacher and have mentorship for one of the classes. You will be an important part of a close collaboration in the work team and with other staff at the school. We place great emphasis on collegial learning and offer joint study days for all Mondial schools, where you will be part of our collective quality work. At our school, everyday life is permeated by a strong sustainability perspective and an international touch, where our upper secondary school, among other things, conducts annual exchange trips in Europe.

Your Mission

As a teacher with us, you are responsible for driving and developing the pedagogical work in close collaboration with your colleagues, in accordance with Lgr 22 and Montessori Mondial's operational goals. Your role as a subject teacher means that you center the student's individual knowledge journey. Through continuous documentation and close dialogue with the students, you help them visualize their progress and reach their full potential. You create a structured and inspiring learning environment based on the principles of Montessori pedagogy, where the student's own drive and curiosity are encouraged.

Since we are a Montessori school, it is advantageous if you have prior experience with the pedagogy. However, the most important thing for us is your drive and curiosity about our working method. We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to develop within Montessori pedagogy and has the ambition to further their education to become a Montessori teacher in the future.
