Our female client in Södermalm has a great interest in art, flowers, and various outings. She also enjoys watching an exciting movie with you as her assistant.

The woman requires care around the clock concerning hygiene, tube feeding, dressing and undressing, exercise, and more.

The woman also needs support with her communication as she no longer has a spoken language. We are now looking for someone who is passionate about finding ways to communicate using an iPad and picture boards, and who places great focus on the client and her self-determination and choice of leisure activities.

The woman has a tracheostomy through which she breathes. A significant part of the assistant's role is to keep this clear of mucus to ensure open airways. Assistance is provided 24 hours a day by two assistants simultaneously.

As a person, we see that you are confident where the client's integrity is a given in everything you do. It is important that you are both punctual and can keep time but also flexible enough to sometimes step in to cover gaps in staffing. It is of great importance that you as an assistant can work independently and in collaboration with others in a group.

It is also desirable that you have good physical health and that you, like the woman herself, have a cheerful and positive attitude that is contagious. The chemistry and interaction between you as an assistant and the client are crucial for the quality and experience of the work.

About the employment

Temporary substitutes We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreements.

Working hours vary, and you are expected to be able to work days, evenings, or nights based on your schedule.

The selection process is ongoing, and more information about the assignment will be provided at a possible interview. Start date will be agreed upon. For employment with Novum Assistans, you are required to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service.
