Vänge School
Vänge School is a small, family-like educational unit where knowledge, safety, study peace, and dedicated staff are a common thread throughout the operations.
This autumn, we will have about 40 students at the school. You will become an important piece of the puzzle in our operations. At Vänge School, everyone knows each other, which creates safety and allows us to give students that little extra. Vänge is located about 20 minutes by car from Visby, just outside Roma. There are bus connections available. Vänge School is part of the Roma school area along with the educational units Roma, Kräklingbo, Dalhem, and Endre. Students from these schools are bused to Romaskolan for teaching in various subjects.
Your Responsibilities
As a teacher with us, you will conduct structured teaching based on Lgr 22, follow up and analyze your teaching and students' results. You are a clear leader in the classroom and are willing to try new paths to constantly strive to improve your teaching. You work with high expectations and see good relationships with students and guardians as the natural starting point for your work. In collaboration with colleagues, you create accessible learning environments based on relational and low-arousal leadership. You take responsibility for and participate in relevant professional development to grow and develop in your profession.
Who Are You?
You who are applying are a licensed teacher or will soon receive your teaching license for grades F-3.
You have a positive outlook and believe in every individual's willingness to develop and learn, are unpretentious and solution-focused, and understand the benefits of working in a team. As a person, you have a good ability to create relationships with students, parents, your colleagues, and the school's student health team.
You have the ability to work independently and goal-oriented based on Lgr 22. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the operations. We are looking for someone who is attentive, curious, and development-oriented. You take initiative, find it easy to collaborate, and create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
About the Education and Labor Administration
As part of Region Gotland, we contribute in the Education and Labor Administration to the learning and development of children, youth, and adults. We are responsible for, among other things, preschool, primary school, after-school care, adapted primary and secondary school, culture school, high school and adult education, labor market initiatives, youth centers, and the reception and establishment of newcomers. Together, we provide opportunities for lifelong learning.
