Vänge School and Leisure Center is a small and pleasant unit where knowledge, safety, study peace, and engaged staff are a defining red thread throughout the entire operation.

The school, with its 40 students, is located in a rural area close to forests and nature. The cozy schoolyard is frequently used for learning, play, and movement. Vänge School and Leisure Center is part of the Roma school area, together with the schools Roma, Kräklingbo, Dalhem, and Endre.

We who work here have a very close collaboration which contributes to a positive and familial work environment. We see the smallness of the school and leisure center as one of our strengths where everyone knows each other well. This in itself creates good conditions for safety and community, and not least the opportunities to give our fantastic students that little extra!

Your Responsibilities

In the role of a teacher in the leisure center, your main task will be to be responsible for planning, teaching, and following up on the leisure center's activities based on relevant parts of the curriculum. You work in a structured and systematic way with planning and follow-up where you have set aside time for this. In close dialogue and collaboration with your other colleagues in the leisure center, there are good opportunities to influence and shape the work and pedagogy of the operation.

In close collaboration with teaching teachers, support to classes, student groups, or individual students in the school is also part of the assignment. Leading and developing the school's break activities is something we would like to see you interested in. You are part of a work team that together creates a pedagogical learning environment that challenges and stimulates students' development and learning while ensuring safe care. It is important that you create a good relationship with children, guardians, and colleagues, characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach as well as positive expectations.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is licensed or awaiting your license as a teacher in leisure centers/leisure pedagogy. It is an advantage if you have experience working in leisure centers and in school F-6, as well as good experience working with digital tools. You are well acquainted with the school's and leisure center's curriculum and assignment.

We would like you to have experience in safety work and break activities. Your view of children is characterized by respect and a belief that all children can and want to develop. You have high expectations of the students, and it is important for you to motivate them and work to ensure they thrive in school and in the leisure center.

About the Education and Labor Administration
