Klinteskolan

Do you want to work in a workplace filled with optimism and forward-thinking? At Klinteskolan, the goal is simple – everyone should thrive, have fun at work, have the opportunity to develop, contribute their experiences, and grow with their tasks.

Klinteskolan is a primary school for approximately 300 students, with activities from preschool class up to grade 9. There is also an after-school program at the school. We have fantastic conditions with spacious facilities for all subjects, close to both forest and sea, just thirty kilometers outside Visby's city wall. We have begun a transformation journey within our school area to raise the quality of teaching and enhance learning among our students.

We rely on research and work at the universal level in our promoting and preventive efforts. It is important to us that all staff create a good school connection for each student. We know that this is crucial for students' learning, safety, health, and joy in learning. We work with success factors, and the most important of them all is our shared experience. We work together at all levels, and our strength is the will and drive to create the best school for our students.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven, engaged, and structured leader and teacher responsible for our special education group for students in middle and high school. Your focus will be to create a clear planning and working method that meets our students' unique needs for special support and to be a driving force in the development of adapted teaching.

As the head of the school's special education group, you are expected to lead and inspire your colleagues, as well as motivate the team to ensure high quality in teaching. Your work includes collaborating with the student health team to develop action plans and being responsible for follow-up and evaluation of existing action plans.

Who Are You?

You have a teaching license or are awaiting your license. Experience working in a special education group is an advantage.

You need to enjoy taking on significant responsibility, be a clear leader, and create and maintain relationships with both staff and students as well as guardians. You communicate clearly and have good collaboration skills, contributing to creating engagement within the group.

You are good at organizing, keeping to timelines, and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and current research in the field of special education. As a person, you are stable and structured.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
