Klinteskolan

Do you want to work in a workplace with optimism and a forward-thinking attitude? At Klinteskolan, the goal is simple – everyone should thrive, have fun at work, have the opportunity to develop, contribute their experiences, and grow with their tasks.

Klinteskolan is a primary school for about 300 students, with activities from preschool class up to grade 9. There is also an after-school program at the school. We have fantastic conditions with spacious facilities for all subjects, close to both forest and sea, only thirty kilometers outside Visby's city wall. We have begun a transformation journey within our school area to raise the quality of teaching and increase learning among our students.

We rely on research and work at the universal level in our promotional and preventive efforts. It is important to us that all staff create a good school connection for each student. We know that this is crucial for students' learning, safety, health, and joy in learning. We work with success factors, and the most important of them all is our shared experience. We work together at all levels, and our strength is the will and drive to create the best school for our students.

Your Responsibilities

Your main task is to create quality-assured teaching in the after-school program according to the curriculum's goals. Your responsibilities include pedagogical work in a group of children where you support their development and provide them with opportunities for various leisure activities, as well as develop their social skills and knowledge. In collaboration with other staff, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and developing the activities in the after-school program. As a teacher in the after-school program, you will work in a class together with a teacher for a large part of the day; the rest of the time, you will work in the after-school program.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a licensed teacher in the after-school program.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in primary school or experience working with children.

You have a drive and the ability to see the whole picture together with your colleagues, with a focus on the student perspective. You are solution-focused and have the ability to prioritize, structure, and adapt your working methods.

You are confident in a leadership role and have the ability to create good relationships. You have a relational approach and see each student's unique needs. Personal suitability is of great importance.
