Klinteskolan

Klinteskolan is a primary school for about 300 students, with activities from preschool class up to grade 9. There is also an after-school center at the school. We have fantastic conditions with spacious facilities for all subjects, close to both forest and sea, three miles outside Visby's city wall.
We have started a transformation journey within our school area to improve the quality of teaching and increase learning among our students. We draw support from research and work at the universal level in our proactive and preventive efforts. It is important to us that all staff create a good school connection for each student. We know that this is crucial for students' learning, safety, health, and joy in learning. We work with success factors, and the most important of them all is our shared experience. We work together at all levels, and our strength lies in the willingness and drive to create the best school for our students.
Your Responsibilities
Are you passionate about the educational mission? Are you a team player? Are you solution-oriented and enjoy development? Then you might be our new colleague! You will teach Swedish and English in grades 7-9. At our school, collaboration between classes and colleagues is important. In the role of a teacher, you will lead the educational work in accordance with the school's governing documents. You are responsible for planning, teaching, assessment, and documentation of students' knowledge development. You will be part of a work team where collaboration and cooperation are key parts of your work. You will actively participate in the school's systematic quality work. Mentorship is included.
Who Are You?
We see that you have a teaching license or are awaiting your license. Experience is meritorious.
You are a clear leader in the classroom. You are solution-focused and have the ability to prioritize, structure, and adapt your working methods. You have the ability to adapt to changing conditions and encourage and support change initiatives. Building good relationships with our students is an important quality for us.
You have a drive to develop yourself and the learning in the classroom to create the best conditions for our students' various needs and prerequisites. We are looking for someone who is a clear leader and has the student's goal fulfillment in focus.

About the Education and Labor Administration
As part of Region Gotland, we contribute in the Education and Labor Administration to the learning and development of children, young people, and adults. We are responsible for, among other things, preschools, primary schools, after-school centers, adapted primary and secondary schools, cultural schools, upper secondary and adult education, labor market initiatives, youth centers, and the reception and establishment of newcomers. Together we provide opportunities for lifelong learning.
