Solbergaskolan

Solbergaskolan is a workplace with approximately 630 students and 90 staff members.

The school includes grades 7-9, preparatory groups for newly arrived students in grades 7-9, a co-teaching class for grades 7-9, and special education groups for grades 7-9. The school is locally integrated with adapted primary school, the mother tongue unit, and the resource school for speech and language for grades 7-9.

Your Responsibilities

You will teach mathematics for grades 7-9. In the faculty, we have teachers who exclusively teach mathematics for students in grades 7-9, which contributes to a shared understanding and collegial collaboration regarding planning, co-assessment, and subject development. The mathematics teachers have partial resource time in their positions. This allows for smaller teaching groups and a co-teaching system in certain lessons. Your role includes mentorship together with a teaching colleague for a class.

Who Are You?

You are a licensed teacher in mathematics or are awaiting your license.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience working as a teacher and mentor in middle school.

You have a positive outlook and believe in every individual's desire to develop and learn. You are unpretentious and solution-focused and understand the value of working in a team and learning together. You have a good ability to build relationships with students, parents, and your colleagues.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

About the Education and Employment Administration
