Who are we?

Kimstad is a small community located between Norrköping and Linköping, home to Kimstad School. We are a school for grades 4–6 with 115 students and age-homogeneous classes. The school's activities are organized into different teams, one for each grade.

Kimstad School and Grebyskolan have a close collaboration, where our common thread is interaction, self-esteem, empathy, and responsibility that permeates the activities from preschool at Grebyskolan to grade 6 at Kimstad School.

We have joint action plans for core subjects such as mathematics, Swedish, and English from preschool to grade 6. The purpose of these action plans is to ensure equity in teaching and to create clarity during transitions between classes/stages.

The knight has a strong connection to Kimstad as a locality, and we have therefore chosen to use some of the old requirements placed on a knight as a model for our work with safety, learning, and personal development in the school.

We are now looking for a temporary colleague who wants to complement our team!

Your responsibilities

As a teacher for grades 4–6, you are responsible for the teaching at the school by contributing to the realization of the curriculum's goals and intentions in the activities.

You are also responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting the pedagogical work.

We work in a subject teacher system where you plan and carry out teaching together with colleagues in subject teams and work teams.

At Kimstad School, teachers work with mentorship, which means that the team collectively takes responsibility for a grade.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed teacher for grades 4–6, with qualifications in mathematics and science. We would also like you to have experience in pedagogical work.

We hope that you, as our future colleague, are creative and have an easy time building relationships with students and colleagues.

You are skilled in collaboration with others and adapt your communication according to whom you meet. You have a strong commitment to the entire school's activities.

You feel secure in the role of teacher, possess the knowledge and practical skills required for the position, and are a wonderful educator for our students at the school.

You take responsibility and have the insight to see what efforts are needed at the moment and take initiative. You have a flexible working style and the ability to create a positive working and development climate.

You have a clear grounding in the curriculum and a strong interest in pedagogy and pedagogical development.

To succeed in this position, we see that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
