Substitute Teacher at Vittra Röda Stan

Vittra Schools, one of Sweden's leading independent school companies with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for approximately 8000 children and students and have about 1000 employees. Vittra is a socially engaged preschool and primary school where children and students learn about themselves and the world. We are now looking for someone who wants to step in and substitute at our school for grades 4-9. We need more substitute teachers to call upon when regular staff are absent. This can range from a few hours to several days based on our needs and your availability. Working hours can vary but are generally between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. At Vittra Röda Stan, we have our own substitute bank, ensuring you have personal contact with us for each booking. As a substitute with us, many doors will open, and you will gradually get to know our students, educators, and our operations. For the right person, there is an opportunity for a long-term and secure hourly employment.

Experience in the school environment is an advantage but not a requirement. You should enjoy working with people and have experience working with children and youth. You should be able to independently conduct a pre-planned lesson in a full class. You should be social and have an easy time building good relationships with children, youth, colleagues, and guardians.

About us:

Vittra Röda Stan is located in central Norrköping, about a 10-minute walk from Norrköping's travel center. Vittra Röda Stan has been around since 2003. We have access to several beautiful parks, playgrounds, and forest areas in our local environment.

We have a 1-16 year perspective under one roof. Today, we have about 580 children and students from preschool to grade 9, of which 80 children are enrolled in preschool. We have around 70 dedicated and educated employees throughout our operations.
