Höör is located in the middle of Skåne, has good train connections, beautiful nature, 17,000 inhabitants, and a steady population increase. With around 1,400 employees, Höör Municipality is the largest employer. Many of our staff commute here.

Drivhuset is part of the Culture, Work, and Public Health sector's efforts to support unemployed individuals in moving forward into work or studies. We are located at Höör's learning center, a short walk from Höör station. The unit where the work takes place is the Labor Market and Integration Unit. There are 5 employees at the workplace who work with similar tasks. We collaborate closely with the Individual and Family Care (IFO) and our sister operation within the labor market unit; Växthuset. We also cooperate with the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and Health and Medical Care.

The citizens we work with are primarily individuals receiving financial assistance. Many belong to groups with weak competitiveness in the labor market, including those born outside Europe, individuals lacking high school qualifications, and people with disabilities in relation to work. Participants will be between 20-67 years old. There may be participants who struggle with boundaries and are unaccustomed to this type of demands.

The activity requirement includes demands on our citizens receiving financial assistance to participate in activities based on their abilities. It is at Drivhuset that the activities are primarily conducted.

We are now looking for two new colleagues and have one permanent position and one temporary position to offer. Please indicate in your application which position(s) you are interested in.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Drivhuset, we have the main responsibility for providing the activities that citizens need to become self-sufficient. These activities will fall within 4 tracks: Job-seeking activities, Language activities, Preparatory activities, and Internship activities.

You will lead activities daily, preferably in groups. The size of the group depends on the needs of the individuals. Citizens should have activities based on their work ability or activity ability. To meet the needs, we need to have a schedule of 30 hours a week. You are expected to be responsible for activities for at least 25 hours a week.

In addition to the activities, you will have follow-ups on an individual level, often together with caseworkers from IFO. Furthermore, we have internal meetings and planning time included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have:

  • A university degree in a relevant field, social sciences, pedagogy, or social work.
  • Experience working with socially disadvantaged people in groups and enjoy working with groups of people.
  • You can work on-site every day.
  • Good communication skills even in difficult conversations and situations.
  • Driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in conducting practical activities with groups of citizens.
  • Experience and knowledge in cultivation.
  • Experience and knowledge in language development.
  • Experience and knowledge in rehabilitation.
  • Good at helping others see their own obstacles and limitations as well as possible paths forward.

OTHER

The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and that it is not needed for internal use.
