The Social Administration is organized into a preventive unit, a regulatory unit, and an execution unit. Our guiding principle is teamwork, utilizing the strength of a small municipality to work closely together in short decision-making paths for an efficient organization and a service-oriented perspective.

The Labor Market Unit is undergoing a significant change and needs more engaged employees. The main mission of the unit is to help more Örkelljunga residents receiving financial assistance to move towards self-sufficiency through work or studies. We also work with assignments from the Employment Service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of labor market consultant, you will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen, guide, and match individuals to work or studies. In your work, you will have close collaboration with colleagues within the unit, with other units within the administration, as well as various external actors such as authorities and workplaces.

We are looking for a colleague who combines good administrative structure with a secure and empathetic ability to build trust. The role requires determination and a good understanding of the missions and regulations of different actors. You have the ability to motivate individuals who are far from the labor market, which is essential for succeeding and thriving in the role of labor market consultant.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant academic degree (for example, social worker, behavioral scientist, or equivalent that we assess as comparable).
  • Experience working with target groups that are far from the labor market (for example, foreign-born individuals, people with health issues).
  • Good knowledge of the labor market and the Employment Service's initiatives.
  • Good administrative skills and experience with ongoing documentation in operational systems.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience from regulatory practice.
  • Experience with the LifeCare system.
  • Training in and experience with MI (Motivational Interviewing) BIP and/or Supported Employment.

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and experience in labor market issues. Since a large and important part of the work involves meetings and conversations with people, we expect you to be secure in yourself, engage with people with enthusiasm and curiosity, and have the ability to meet people based on their circumstances.

You have a flexible working style with the ability to quickly shift focus when required. You are creative and solution-oriented. Our mission is based on collaboration, so we expect you to enjoy building good relationships.

The work also includes continuous documentation, which means that accuracy and structure are important.
