The Workplace
The Culture and Leisure Administration is undergoing a development and transformation process to play a more active role in the work for a sustainable and attractive municipality.
Within the department of hospitality, association collaboration, and sports, responsibilities include swimming pools, safety hosts, association support, facility bookings, and sports development. The department also acts as a purchaser of operation and maintenance for the municipality's sports facilities towards the municipality's technical service administration and is now seeking a temporary officer for facility issues.
Job Responsibilities
As an officer focusing on facilities, you are an important resource both within and between the various responsibilities and assignments of the Culture and Leisure Administration and for the municipality's association life. You will be part of a team tasked with cross-functionally providing support and service to the Culture and Leisure Administration's departments and the municipality's associations in various facility issues.
You function as a cohesive link between the association life, sports teachers, school caretakers, property managers, and service providers regarding the maintenance and operation of facilities and properties. You are responsible for continuously assessing the needs for investments and requests, as well as for ordering and planning implementation in consultation with service providers.
About the Role
In this role, you are responsible for ordering, monitoring, and coordinating the operation and maintenance of the municipality's sports facilities in collaboration with internal and external service providers. You coordinate the administration's needs for facilities and participate in the work with local supply.
The work also includes handling ongoing operational issues for existing facilities and conducting investigations related to the administration's facilities and future facility needs. You act as support in the design of new cultural and leisure facilities and are responsible for establishing and monitoring rental agreements.
The position also includes independently preparing decision-making materials, such as service memos and statements.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education for the position, or other education combined with experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience working with facilities and good knowledge of the Culture and Leisure Administration's areas of activity. It is advantageous if you have experience in monitoring services, products, and contracts, contract management, as well as work within property and/or green space maintenance, as well as sports and association activities.
As a person, you are independent, structured, and proactive with confidence in your professional role. You have a flexible and customer-oriented working style and enjoy handling multiple parallel processes at the same time. You find it easy to meet new people and create trusting relationships. To succeed in the role, you need to have good collaboration skills and the ability to find alternative solutions to emerging problems in various contexts and functions.
In this recruitment, we place great importance on personal suitability. The assignment also requires that you have a good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A B driver's license is required as you need to be able to travel to various facilities throughout the municipality.
