JOB DESCRIPTION

This advertisement is aimed at those who have work experience in administrative roles within the justice system, preferably within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.

You will work in a team with three administrators who all handle the encompassing tasks.

The work involves administration for inmates and operations with responsibilities including registration, documentation, mail handling, archiving, record-keeping, and establishing sentencing decisions. Invoice management, purchasing, orders, and payroll management concerning clients are part of your daily routine. The job also includes contacts with other authorities and organizations.

As you will be working in our remand facilities, a work uniform will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have completed high school education. The work requires that you have good administrative skills. It is important that you have work experience involving complex administrative tasks, preferably from the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. You have good IT skills and can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish as the job involves documentation covered by the principle of public access. You have the ability to handle invoicing, purchasing, orders, and payroll management for inmates. Experience with record-keeping and archiving is an advantage.

As a person, you are stable and quality-conscious. Stressful situations will arise where you are expected to remain calm and secure, be helpful, service-oriented, and contribute to a good working environment. Since administrative processing is part of the judicial process, you need to be meticulous, structured, and organized.

Requirements:

• At least a high school diploma
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Good data/IT skills
• Experience in administration within the public sector, preferably the justice system

Meritorious:

• Experience working in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's administrative systems for current services, such as Platina and Proceedo
• Experience with record-keeping and archiving
• Completed the basic training of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Driving license B
