About the job

The Research and Development Unit is seeking a project assistant. The tasks will primarily consist of coding information from police reports and preliminary investigations. Other tasks may also be included in the position, such as transcribing interviews and various administrative duties.

In the Research and Development Unit, we work with applied research and development activities within the criminal policy area. The unit monitors and analyzes various aspects of crime development and development trends within the justice system's operations. The core activities of the unit include analyzing large datasets on different types of crime and victimization.

Education and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a university degree with a criminological focus
  • experience coding police reports and preliminary investigations in SPSS
  • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience coding police reports and preliminary investigations related to fatal violence.

As a person, you are meticulous, analytical, and self-driven, and you find it easy to adapt to new tasks. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Employment conditions
