Your Role

As the future for Saab looks very promising, we see an increased need for system administrators within Storage & Compute in Group IT. Your task within Group IT will be to work with your team in the development, operation, support, and management of the IT environment used for the development of Saab's products. A significant part of the work involves automation, where you will naturally be part of the management of it.

Change and development of the environments are often driven in project form with a strong focus on IT security. The tasks will be varied and can include everything from operations and maintenance issues to extensive assignments such as participating in the design and construction of next-generation development environments for a global market. The tasks are defined, but you have the freedom, with accompanying responsibility, to shape your work to solve them in the best way.

Your Profile

To fit well in the role, you should have good communication skills and a well-developed service mindset. You have a burning interest in infrastructure technology and a strong commitment to your work. You need to be security-conscious and act in accordance with decisions made, business plans, goals, policies, and guidelines.

To thrive in the role and meet expectations, we believe you have:

• An interest in configuring, installing, and operating storage and virtualization platforms in larger IT environments
• An interest in developing automation
• A university degree in IT infrastructure or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Familiarity with agile working methods

It is a merit if you have knowledge in the following areas:

• Netapp
• Vmware
• Commvault
• Ansible
• Server x86 hardware
• Linux
• IT security
• Kubernetes and/or other container platforms

Travel both within and outside Sweden may occur in this position. The location for this position is Linköping or Gothenburg.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
