Kriminalvården is expanding – we are building new facilities, renovating, and adding to our operations, and we are now looking for more employees. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation services, remand prisons, and client transport.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with your colleagues at the IT service center, you will actively work to provide our users and clients with quality and effective support. In your service role, you are responsible for delivering first-line support through troubleshooting and user guidance, primarily via phone and our ticketing system.

As a support technician in Client-Centered User Support, your main task is to monitor, filter, and manage alarms for clients with electronic monitoring devices. In addition, we perform various IT-related tasks, primarily related to systems that affect clients. We work closely with our first-line IT support, which means you will also be involved in other types of IT assignments.

We are constantly striving to develop our operations. This means participating in regular meetings with various groups within or connected to the probation service. Through our continuous system monitoring and contact with clients, we contribute improvement suggestions that strengthen both work methods and quality.

This advertisement includes a fixed-term employment and vacation substitute position with a flexible start date until the vacation period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education in the form of a diploma or equivalent, or other education combined with experience that Kriminalvården deems relevant
• Experience in administrative work, customer service, or other work experience that the employer considers relevant
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken English
• Good computer skills

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience working within Kriminalvården's core operations
• Experience in service or support within IT
• Understanding of the complexities of working in larger organizations
• Knowledge of digital meetings, electronic monitoring devices, or telephony
