We provide our residents with the opportunity to grow and develop, ensuring that the path to self-sufficiency is as short as possible. This increases the quality of life for residents, where more take responsibility and contribute to a sustainable future.

Competence supply is the term that unites us in our mission across all the activities we work for. Within the office, we are about 400 employees responsible for social assistance according to the Social Services Act, municipal labor market measures, budget and debt counseling, and adult education from SFI to higher vocational education. We provide administrative support to the competence supply committee.

Your tasks

We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our new object organization. For this, you need to have high IT competence and the ability to understand and grasp complex system flows.

You are passionate about development and have a strong interest in system management. In the role of object specialist, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and driving the development of our systems in close collaboration with the object manager, suppliers, and the business.

Some of the tasks are related to our operational system Alvis, which is aimed at adult education. For example, ensuring operations, training users, configuring, troubleshooting, reporting, and managing integrations. In addition, you will also work with other systems within the Competence Supply Office.

You will work closely with the business and together with business developers and object managers on needs-based development work and prioritized activities. The work involves not only development work but also maintaining current system support and methods.

You will staff our support for one of our operational systems, Alvis. Here you will handle questions that our users encounter in their daily lives. Examples of questions and problems can range from permissions or functions in the system to technical issues where contact with the supplier and/or the municipality's digitalization department is needed.

You work independently but also in close collaboration with the business on development work. You support the object manager in the work with the object plan that is established each year, which includes prioritized activities.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education, such as a systems scientist, engineering degree with an IT focus, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent, along with a few years of experience in the profession.

You have a strong ability to work proactively and collaborate both internally and externally. You are responsive to the needs of the business and are development-focused, analytical, and solution-oriented. You work thoroughly with the causes of problems and find realistic solutions that move the work forward.

You enjoy working independently while also consulting others and asking for help to effectively carry out your work.

Your pedagogical ability is important as you will support users in an understandable way. Furthermore, you are courageous, self-driven, and motivated as you are responsible for moving the work forward. You also need to be flexible as you may need to adjust when the business requires it, and you should be prepared to reprioritize and adapt your work to new activities and legal requirements.

If you also have knowledge of the Education Act and the Social Services Act, it is an advantage for the job.
