AD Technician, permanent

based in Norrköping

Responsibilities
You will be part of the Swedish Maritime Administration's IT department, which consists of about 100 employees, and work closely with both colleagues and the business. We have the opportunity for remote work a few days a week, while we also value face-to-face meetings when needed.

As an AD Technician, you will be responsible, together with your agile team, for the operation, development, and security of the Swedish Maritime Administration's identity and access management as well as related infrastructure. The role includes, among other things:
• Administer identities, groups, policies, and rights
• Work with security-enhancing measures related to AD
• Be responsible for AD structure and delegation access
• Work with automation solutions and PowerShell
• Be responsible for lifecycle management of accounts and groups
• Administer and further develop GPO management including security and hardening policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to AD and authentication
• Participate in and drive development and change projects

Who are you?
To be considered for and succeed in the role of AD Technician, you need to have:
• An academic degree in IT or several years of experience in the IT field that is deemed equivalent.
• Experience with Active Directory in on-prem environments
• Good knowledge of GPO, DNS/DHCP, and Windows Server
• Experience with PowerShell and automation in larger environments
• A good understanding of IT and information security related to identity and authentication
• Experience troubleshooting in complex AD environments
• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure
• Basic networking knowledge
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

It is advantageous if you have:
• Experience with PAM / management of privileged accounts
• Certificate management and PKI
• Linux/Unix in Windows-adjacent environments
• Authentication solutions (MFA on-prem, smart cards)

How and when?
This recruitment is for a permanent position expected to be filled in spring 2026.
Interviews will be held on-site or digitally in weeks 11-13.

The Swedish Maritime Administration may apply a six-month probationary period.
The position may involve military placement at the Swedish Maritime Administration.

The position may require Swedish citizenship. A security check with a background check may be conducted before an offer of employment.
