About the Assignment

We are looking for two IT support technicians for a vital public sector organization. You will be part of an established IT support team focused on providing professional service to users and ensuring their IT daily operations run smoothly. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in IT and the business, with a unit manager responsible for work management and priorities.

You will work in the 1st line and handle incoming contact channels such as phone, chat, and email. Cases that cannot be resolved directly will be escalated to the appropriate function within IT support.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and manage support cases and orders via phone, chat, and email
  • Troubleshoot according to established routines and use the knowledge database for standard solutions
  • Document cases and actions in the case management system
  • Provide service-oriented support in user-facing and office-related IT services
  • Collaborate with the 2nd line and other internal groups when further handling is needed
Requirements
  • Completed upper secondary education/high school diploma
  • At least 1 year of work experience in administrative tasks, for example within a service function/service profession
  • Experience working in a case management system
  • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good experience using IT tools and support systems, as well as retrieving information in IT systems to resolve cases
  • Good pedagogical ability to explain and adapt support based on the recipient's needs
  • Able to work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and drive cases forward
Meritorious
  • Experience with TopDesk
  • Experience working in 1st line IT support
