The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. The IT department of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service is in an expansive phase, and within the IT Security and Management & Monitoring section, we need to expand our expertise in system development.

We are now looking for the developers of the future in web development and .NET technology, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in society while developing your career. You will work in systems that require high security. You will be part of an agile development team responsible for creating digitized solutions that meet the needs of the organization. In the team, you will have the support of engaged and helpful colleagues who share their expertise and experience in the field. The development of our in-house systems takes place in Microsoft's environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is self-driven and takes great responsibility for their tasks. You structure your work approach and have a clear focus on goals and results in everything from prioritization to planning and action. Furthermore, you are flexible and adaptable. You can quickly adjust and change focus and see opportunities in changes. You have a high ability to collaborate and work well with others. In your communication, you are attentive and clear. Finally, you are creative and innovative. You often come up with new ideas and solutions and have the ability to implement them in practice.

It is important for us that you share the fundamental values of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service regarding a humane view of people, respect for the individual, and belief in the human will and ability to develop. We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree in a relevant field such as computer science or software engineering from a university or college, or other education combined with experience deemed relevant by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
  • Several years of experience in system development in .NET/C#
  • Experience working with MS SQL Server
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, Asp.NET, and Blazor
  • The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish

It is a merit if you have:

  • Experience with agile working methods, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience with Optimizely
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Experience with the Angular frontend framework
  • Experience working in development environments without internet access (offline)
  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery
  • Knowledge of Playwright
  • Knowledge of Git
