Technical System Administrator

On the application side, we ensure that the region's large and small IT systems are up and running.

In this role, you will primarily focus on systems that handle patient-related tasks and you will work in a team of technical resources.

Job Description

As a technical system administrator, you are responsible for the functionality of the systems and work with system improvements, operations, and maintenance. You work with new installations, upgrades, and other types of improvement work. You resolve issues as part of our third line and support the second line with knowledge and routines to streamline the work. Close collaboration with your colleagues in the team is important, and you also work with many different people and functions in our various operations within Region Östergötland. Furthermore, you will be part of projects and/or investigations to constantly improve and optimize our IT landscape.

Work Group

Our workplace is centrally located in Linköping and has, in addition to colleagues in the team, many coworkers in all parts of an IT organization close at hand. We have good opportunities to work partly remotely, but we prefer that you spend the majority of your time on-site.

About You

Experience with Windows Server is required, and knowledge of SQL and Linux is advantageous.

To succeed with us, we believe you have experience in the IT industry with a focus on IT operations. You feel confident in your technical skills but are also driven to develop and keep up to date with new technology. You are a person with a natural problem-solving ability and feel secure in your role as a technician. You are engaged in your work, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the workplace, and enjoy working both in teams and independently. Since you work with various people and functions in the organization, you have a good ability to describe and present complex structures in a pedagogical way. You are quality-conscious and solution-focused, which is evident in how you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively to achieve goals and results. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
