The Education Administration's operational office is a staff function that serves our various units with overarching administrative issues. We work to provide managers and employees with multifaceted support and to offer residents effective service and accessible information.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a digitalization leader, you will be responsible for coordinating, driving, and following up on the administration's digitalization work in line with applicable regulations at the national, regional, and local levels. The role is both strategic and operational and encompasses everything from setting structures to implementations and further development. The work requires a good ability to collaborate with operations, IT, and municipal functions.

As a digitalization leader, you will:

• Lead and coordinate the administration's digitalization work
• Follow up and analyze the effects of digitalization initiatives
• Ensure that digital solutions are appropriate, legally secure, and user-friendly
• Contribute to the development of common working methods, structure, and competence within digitalization
• Be a strategic and operational support in digitalization issues
• Communicate and inform about the digitalization work within the administration
• Coordinate environmental monitoring within the digitalization area from an operational perspective

In addition, you will actively participate in municipal joint case and issue preparation within the digitalization area and report status, results, and needs to the administration's digitalization responsible and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education in, for example, system science, change management, digitalization, pedagogy, or other education combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant. You have documented experience in driving digitalization or operational development, preferably with the support of AI, and in addition, you have good operational knowledge from the public sector or politically governed organizations. You have the ability to work systematically with planning, follow-up, and coordination and have good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have experience leading cross-functional groups or projects. Knowledge of and/or experience working with information security, cybersecurity, and system development is desirable.

We place great importance on your personal qualities and ability to contribute to a professional and trusting collaboration. You work closely with other functions within the staff while having a broad network within and outside the administration.

You follow set goals and focus on results while having the ability to change your direction when goals change. You think outside the box and often come up with ideas and new approaches, and have innovative thinking that can be translated into practice and lead to results. You work well with others and have a good understanding of how people's different conditions and abilities to absorb knowledge, and adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient. You easily adapt to changing requirements and conditions.
