The position is located within the Social Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Social Administration is responsible for authority exercise, ordering of services, and self-management in the areas of individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Your tasks
As an IT coordinator, you contribute to the development and management of our IT support, both in collaboration with colleagues and by driving operational development. You will have a free role with your own responsibility. We work goal-oriented with clear objectives and great opportunities to shape the path to those goals.
You handle incoming cases, create and update manuals and instructions, and coordinate activities that encompass both operational processes and digitization. An important part of the job is to provide user support and conduct training for users in designated IT support and working methods. You contribute to high quality in the data used for management and follow-up.
You work on development issues in close collaboration with the unit's development leaders and the managers of the operations, and actively contribute to formulating and realizing the sector's digitalization plan. To succeed, you need to develop and maintain knowledge about the sector's operational processes.
Your workplace
The position as IT coordinator is located in the unit for quality, development, and digitization within the Social Administration. The unit's task is to support the administration, management, and the administrative director, as well as the committees in their assignments. The task also involves collaboration with other administrations within Linköping Municipality, primarily with the Care and Welfare Administration and the Integration and Labor Market Administration. The collaboration takes place via Linköping Municipality's governance and collaboration model, which organizes, manages, and coordinates digitization work based on a common model. The model is based on the established Pm3 model but is adapted to the municipality's conditions.
You will belong to a group of 8 colleagues who work with the development and management of our IT systems with slightly different focuses in their assignments.
The unit is located in newly renovated premises at Drottninggatan 45. Working hours are office hours with flexible working arrangements. There is also the possibility of remote work.
You who are applying
We are looking for someone who has a completed and approved high school education. It is considered meritorious if you have a post-secondary education, e.g., YH education in the areas of digitization/welfare technology, or further education/courses in behavioral science, support pedagogy, or in a direction that the employer assesses as equivalent.
For this position, it is a requirement that you have experience working with processes and working methods within digitization. It is considered meritorious if you have experience with various IT systems, such as the operational system Treserva, and if you have participated in the implementation of IT systems. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have experience working in the social sector, for example as a business developer, case officer, therapist, or support pedagogue. Experience working with follow-up, reporting, and statistics is also seen as meritorious in this role.
For the position, good ability in oral and written communication in Swedish is required as the work involves creating and developing manuals, as well as training others.
