A larger public organization in Östergötland is seeking two (2) Support Technicians for assignments within the IT support's first line. The assignment is placed within the organization's central IT function and is expected to start no earlier than March 1, 2026 (or by agreement).

About the assignment

As a consultant in IT support, you work in a team focused on providing professional, engaged, and service-oriented support to the organization's users. The role is user-facing and involves daily handling of cases and orders related to office and IT services.

The work is primarily conducted via phone, chat, and email, and you document and manage cases in a case management system. You work according to established routines and have access to a comprehensive knowledge database for standard troubleshooting.

Job responsibilities

• Receive and manage IT cases via phone, chat, and email
• Provide professional support and guidance to users
• Document cases and actions in the case management system
• Perform basic troubleshooting according to given routines
• Contribute to good service, structure, and quality in support delivery

Requirements

• Completed high school education/high school diploma
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good ability to use IT tools and support systems
• Can start the assignment immediately or by agreement
• Competence level: at least level 1

Preferred qualifications / Meritorious experience

• At least 1 year of work experience in administrative work, for example:
  • Work in a service function or service profession
  • Work in a case management system

• Service-oriented – calm, attentive, and accommodating with a strong desire to help others
• Responsible – structures their work, drives cases forward, and takes responsibility for their actions
• Pedagogical – has an easy time explaining and adapts their approach to the recipient
• Collaborative – enjoys working in a team and with various stakeholders

Compensation

• Salary according to agreement within the range of 18,000 – 23,000 SEK per month, based on experience and the requirements of the assignment.
