Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK each year. The Legal Department is responsible for the legal governance of the agency's operations, which means that the department interprets the regulations that govern the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's activities. The Legal Department is also responsible for legal development work, which includes, among other things, regulatory development and consultations regarding legal issues. The department is also responsible for case law formation, which includes litigation in the highest court.
Administration, support, and collaboration
The Legal Department's secretariat is responsible for the operational support to the department's managers. This includes planning, coordination, and follow-up of the department's overall need for administrative support. You will collaborate with the department's administrative assistants and managers and serve as a contact person for other operations both internally and externally.
In your work, you will handle invoices, procurement, purchases, meeting administration, meeting documentation, and administration of security, preparedness, and access issues. You will manage and develop the department's digital platforms and participate in organizing larger conferences. The position also involves providing administrative support within the area of case law formation, which includes some case management. You will also contribute to the development of both your own and the department's work.

We are looking for someone who
- has completed secondary education and post-secondary training in administration, paralegal, or equivalent
- has several years of experience working in a government agency
- has experience working as a court clerk, paralegal, or a corresponding role that includes simpler legal tasks
- has a systematic and meticulous working method
- collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
- has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
- acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
- quickly identifies problems and solves them in a relevant manner.
It is advantageous if you
- have a relevant degree from a university, for example in law or social sciences
- have experience as a project manager or equivalent
- have experience taking responsibility for the development of tasks within your own work area
- have experience providing qualified support to managers in administrative work
- have knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act
- have good skills in using IT support and systems for administration and document management.

A permanent, full-time position, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Swedish citizenship is required for this position.
