HR Administrator at SiS Youth Home Tysslinge

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements secure youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse throughout the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. No matter where in our organization you work or what position you hold, you help create life-changing transformations.

SiS Youth Home Tysslinge, located just outside Södertälje, receives non-compulsory school-age boys with psychosocial issues as well as criminal behavior and substance abuse.

Job Description

Do you want to work in a key position and contribute to the daily functioning of our operations? Apply for the position of HR Administrator with us at SiS!

SiS Youth Home Tysslinge is currently in a development phase as we have recently reopened two of our departments, we are expanding our core staffing, and are therefore working intensively with competence supply. As our operations grow, we now need to expand our existing HR team, which currently consists of an Administrative Manager, an HR Generalist, and a Staffing Planner. We are a small, close-knit group that works in close collaboration within the HR team, but also together with the institution's managers.

As an HR Administrator with us, you will work in a varied and broad role with responsibility for all types of administration related to HR, such as administration during hiring, handling salaries, training and onboarding planning for employees, travel bookings, archiving, and documentation. You will also support the Staffing Planner with tasks related to this, such as administration of work shifts in our scheduling system Besched and finding substitutes. In this role, you need to be able to understand and apply governmental regulations regarding recruitment processes and working time agreements.

A major focus of our HR team's work is related to competence supply, and you will therefore at times work intensively with recruitment processes, where you work with parts of or the entire process, from making selections, inviting to interviews, participating in interviews with hiring managers, reference checks, and administration related to this. In several processes, you are the one who keeps the work together and drives it forward. We work in the recruitment system ReachMee and the digital reference system Refapp, and it is advantageous if you have experience from these or similar systems.

To ensure a good introduction for new employees and ongoing competence development, the planning and coordination of training initiatives both locally and nationally within the authority are crucial, and here the HR Administrator has an important role to contribute to planning, follow-up, and registration of initiatives.

Since we are a small HR team, we need to be able to cover for each other when necessary, which means you need to be flexible and pitch in where needed.

About the Workplace

SiS Youth Home Tysslinge is an institution of the highest security class that receives young people with high risks of threats, violence, and absconding. One of the departments consists of places for young people who are cared for in isolation (VIE) for a period.

You will be located in our newly built administrative office where you sit in an open office landscape together with managers, security functions, HR, staffing, administrators, and psychologists. Since Tysslinge is an institution of the highest security class, security is an important aspect of our HR and recruitment work, and you need to work with great precision regarding this.

As the workplace is located just outside Södertälje, it is advantageous if you have a B driver's license and access to a car, but there are some possibilities to travel by public transport with a bus that stops outside the institution once an hour.
