About the Employer Development Section
The Employer Development Section is part of the HR department of the Defense Staff, led by the Director of Personnel. The section's overall mission is to develop the Armed Forces' employer brand, focus on and develop the Armed Forces' work with equality and gender equality, as well as the Armed Forces' value base and code of conduct.
Main Responsibilities
Support and develop all parts of the section's areas of activity and, where applicable, the department's. Contribute to developing the section's work with the value base as well as gender equality and equality. Contribute to the section's work to develop the Armed Forces' employer policy at a strategic level. The role includes substituting for the section head in their absence and thereby taking responsibility for the section's mission, results, and work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Relevant university degree is a requirement or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer
- Experience working with similar tasks in a larger authority
- Competence and experience in working with value base issues at a strategic level
- Competence and experience in working with gender equality and equality issues at a strategic level

Have an inviting and curious approach to the assignment and be driven by working with continuous improvements. You create trust and are relationship-oriented in your contacts with others. You are comfortable and secure in your communication and have the ability to adapt your message to the recipient's needs. DESIRABLE
- Experience working with similar tasks in the Armed Forces
- Very good ability to express yourself clearly and well-formulated, in speech and writing
- Good ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Good IT skills
- Management experience at a direct level
Other
Employment type: Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Work location: Stockholm.
Start date: as soon as possible by agreement.

Information about the recruiting unit:
In the Headquarters, there is the Supreme Commander and the Director-General. The Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. As of 2023-01-01, the Headquarters consists of the Defense Staff, the operations management, military intelligence and security service, as well as the Headquarters' staff department and independent supervisory units.
An employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required. A security check with a register control will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment includes an obligation to be assigned to war. The employment also includes an obligation to serve abroad. The implications of this vary depending on the type of position.
