About Iris Förvaltning Iris Förvaltning is owned by the Foundation for the Visually Impaired and operates several businesses, many of which are related to the visually impaired. The group includes property management, educational activities, and Iris Accounting Agency. The agency currently handles around 70 client assignments, most of which are foundations and non-profit associations.

Job Description In this role, you will work independently in an operational capacity with responsibility for ongoing accounting, year-end closing, and reporting. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and ongoing dialogue with clients in an organization characterized by cooperation, precision, and sustainability.

The work includes:

• Ongoing accounting for foundations and non-profit organizations

• Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings according to K2 and K3

• Preparation of annual reports and reporting

• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations

• Reconciliations and account management

• Management of securities

• Contact with auditors, authorities, and clients

You will be part of a team of 7 people, where you as an accountant work closely with colleagues in administration and grant management. The position is located in southern Stockholm. The office has guide dogs, which means you should not be allergic.

Qualifications & Experience To succeed in the role of accountant, you have several years of experience in accounting under K2 and K3, and you are confident in the entire year-end closing process. You are used to working independently on multiple assignments simultaneously and have a good understanding of the entire accounting chain. You speak and write Swedish fluently and have an academic education, YH education, or secondary education in economics. Previous experience in accounting for foundations or non-profit organizations and securities management is an advantage.

The role requires high standards of accuracy, structure, and responsibility. You are unpretentious, communicative, service-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with both clients and colleagues, while also having the ability to drive your work forward independently.
