About Us

Maskrosbarn is a children's rights organization that supports children with parents who have substance abuse issues, mental illness, or who subject them to violence. Over the years, we have met thousands of children, and on their behalf, Maskrosbarn also conducts awareness-raising work to help more people see and discover children suffering at home, as well as advocacy work to improve laws, processes, and systems that affect children's opportunities for a better life.

We collaborate with municipalities, regions, authorities, and other actors throughout Sweden. Today, we have approximately 40 employees at our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö (we will also open in Umeå in 2027), along with around 250 engaged volunteers across the country. Our communication and fundraising work is a crucial part of our ability to continue reaching and supporting more children.

About the Role

You will be part of the communication and fundraising team (corporate and private), which currently consists of 9 people. As a Donor Development Officer, you play a central role in Maskrosbarn's continued growth. You are responsible for developing our relationships with existing donors and ensuring that our donor journeys are relevant, data-driven, and engaging. Through analysis, segmentation, and strategic CRM work, you contribute to more donors choosing to stay longer, give more frequently, and deepen their engagement with Maskrosbarn.

The role also involves planning, creating, and developing communication to our donors. Through data-driven work, analysis, and strategic communication, you develop and implement onboarding, ongoing email campaigns, and SMS, which strengthen the relationship with our donors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the development of Maskrosbarn's CRM work and donor journeys.
  • Work with segmentation, target groups, and data-driven analysis.
  • Identify development opportunities through analysis of donor behavior and key figures.
  • Develop strategies to increase giving, reduce churn, and increase lifetime value.
  • Plan and execute communication via email and SMS.
  • Plan communication for telemarketing twice a year, maintaining contact with our agency and monitoring key figures.
  • Responsible for budget, follow-up, and analysis within email, SMS, and telemarketing.
  • System owner for CRM (Salesforce AXSP) and contact person for external suppliers.
  • Ensure good data quality and develop workflows regarding CRM in collaboration with, among others, Donor Service.
  • Plan for and contribute to automated donor journeys and the implementation of a system supporting this.
  • Actively contribute to the development of Maskrosbarn's private fundraising.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Probation period may apply.

Who are you?

We believe that you…

…are analytical, curious, and structured. You enjoy working in a data-driven manner and are driven by results and turning analysis into concrete improvements. At the same time, you appreciate operational work and thrive when carrying out activities yourself and tracking results over time.

You are accustomed to collaborating with many different functions and have an easy time seeing both the details and the big picture.

We see that you have:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in fundraising targeting private individuals.
  • Good knowledge of CRM work within fundraising.
  • Experience in analysis, segmentation, and data-driven working methods.
  • Good ability to interpret data and turn insights into results.
  • Experience in donor communication and strong stylistic skills.
  • Experience in setting up donor journeys.
  • Experience in budget follow-up and result measurement.

We consider the following to be meritorious:

  • Experience with Salesforce/AXSP.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization.
  • Experience working with email campaigns, including planning, producing, and following up on them.

What We Offer

At Maskrosbarn, you will work in beautiful, spacious premises in Stockholm (Hammarby Sjöstad) together with competent and engaged colleagues who are passionate about children's rights.

The organization has grown significantly in recent years, which means we can invest even more in developing our support for children and reaching more people who need us. You will become part of a strong communication and fundraising team consisting of a Head of Communication and Fundraising, communicators with various focuses, donor service staff, corporate relations officers, fundraisers, and a graphic designer.

Here, you will have the opportunity to develop alongside imaginative and creative colleagues who have won several prestigious awards in communication and fundraising over the years – and who are driven by making a real difference for children.

Application

Apply by August 18, 2026. Applications are submitted via our recruitment system, and we ask that you attach a CV and a cover letter describing how your skills and experience match the requirements for the position.

For questions, contact Marlene Lundli (Head of Communication and Fundraising) via email at [email protected] (questions by phone cannot be answered).

Upon employment, you will need to provide an extract from the police record (work with children in activities other than school and childcare).
