Job Description

As the Document Control Lead, you are responsible for the management, quality assurance, and monitoring of technical documentation throughout its entire lifecycle – from creation to final archiving. You report to the Digitalization Manager and collaborate closely with disciplines such as Engineering, Information Coordination, and external partners.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Document Coordination: Lead and coordinate review and approval processes for technical documentation (including drawings, specifications, and reports).
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all technical documentation meets the project's requirements, standards, and regulatory requirements prior to final handover.
• Supplier Contact: Coordinate and follow up on document deliveries with suppliers, contractors, and the project design organization according to schedule.
• Process Development: Develop, implement, and maintain procedures for document control in accordance with project and industry requirements.
• System Responsibility: Manage the project's document databases (EDMS/CDE), registers, and logs, ensuring structured version control.
• Advisory & Collaboration: Provide support to the project organization regarding best practices, and participate in cross-functional meetings (e.g., Digitalization meetings).

Essential Requirements

• Experience: At least 7 years of experience in document control and technical document management within large industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Final Handover: Documented experience in leading and executing a complete document handover in at least one complex, large-scale project.
• System Competence: Experience with EDMS and CDE systems (e.g., Aconex or equivalent industry systems).
• Technical Understanding: Good understanding of technical documentation standards, document lifecycles, and regulatory requirements.
• Digitalization: Experience with digital document management and modern archiving solutions.
• Education: University or university college degree, or equivalent, in technical documentation, industrial engineering, construction technology, or another relevant field.
• Languages: Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Digital Twin-based document handovers or transition from traditional to digital handover processes.
• Experience from international EPC projects.
• Knowledge of additional languages such as Italian or French.

• Contract Period: August 24, 2026 – August 23, 2027
• Scope: Full-time (100%)
