About Us

Täby is one of Sweden's best-managed municipalities, offering great choice, high-quality welfare services, an attractive business climate, and a stable economy. The municipality's schools achieve top results, preschools provide a safe and stimulating environment, and satisfaction levels at municipal nursing homes are high. The location is attractive, with proximity to both Stockholm and Arlanda Airport, while access to forests, sea, and walking areas offers opportunities for nature experiences and recreation. Täby is developing new attractive and safe environments by further developing existing areas sustainably, caring for cultural heritage, and preserving larger contiguous green areas. Half of Täby should be green, and the whole of Täby should be sustainable. Traffic and infrastructure should function well in daily life and be developed for the future. At the Municipal Executive Office, central leadership resources and administrative support are provided to the municipality's operational areas, such as finance, investigations, HR, and communication. We coordinate and drive overall development and are responsible for strategies, guidelines, and tools.
