Description

We are now looking for a summer temp for our reception and goods reception at Björkdalsgruvan. The summer temp position will be split into two roles during the period. The tasks in the reception involve being the face for visitors and contractors as well as a service function for our own employees. The tasks related to goods reception involve receiving, sorting, and administrating goods. Reception and goods reception fall under the Finance and Administration department, and you will therefore be part of a team of 7 people led by the finance manager.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

Reception

• Telephone switchboard
• Welcoming visitors and managing the access system for contractors, visitors, and employees
• Ordering and administration of protective clothing, safety equipment, office supplies, mining radios, food, and refreshments, etc.
• Administration and booking of hotels, travel, etc.
• You will also play an important role in supporting HR by administrating and coordinating the practical parts of the onboarding process for new employees.

Goods Reception

• Receiving goods, sorting and labeling goods, mail, and packages, as well as handling any documentation
• Communication with machine operators and orderers
• Incoming deliveries and documentation in our purchasing system Ultimo.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is responsible and independent with a strong service mindset. It is important that you are flexible and solution-oriented as the work may involve being assigned to various tasks related to finance, HR, security, and administration. The role also requires good computer skills and the ability to learn new programs and systems easily.

As a person, you need to be able to maintain good order in the workplace and be structured in your work approach.

Previous experience as a receptionist or in goods handling, as well as in service professions, is an advantage. Education in fields such as finance is also a merit.

Conditions

The summer temp position will last from June 15 to August 21.

You will cover the reception staffing for one part of the period and the goods reception staffing for the other part. Therefore, the working hours will vary. In the reception, your working hours will be Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 16:30. For goods reception, the working hours will be Monday – Friday 06:00 - 15:00.

A B driver's license (manual transmission) is required.
