International Coordinator
We are looking for an international coordinator who wants to help drive our work with international collaborations forward. With us, you will have the opportunity to use your skills where they truly make a difference. Together with an experienced team, you will create solutions that leave an impact – both today and in the future.
About the Position
The role includes coordinating and compiling the Army's materials for both bilateral and multilateral international meetings. You are responsible for ensuring that the material is of high quality and is clear, relevant, and well anchored in the organization.
You will also be responsible for structuring, coordinating, and managing national and international meetings, gatherings, and events, as well as coordinating the organization's participation in international fairs. Here, you will drive the entire process – from preparations and logistics to implementation and subsequent follow-up.
Furthermore, you will represent the area of responsibility in working groups and forums for international issues within FMV, where you will contribute with structure, coordination, and a good understanding of the direction of international work. The work also includes producing various types of documents and reports related to upcoming, ongoing, and completed activities. These compilations and analyses serve as important decision-making tools and create conditions for continued development in the area.
You will work closely with colleagues within FMV, other authorities, and international actors, becoming a central link in the work of information exchange and coordination of joint efforts.
The role combines strategic elements with operational implementation – a broad and stimulating mix for you who want to work closely with core operations and contribute to the development of our international cooperation.
The position is located in Stockholm. Travel within Sweden and abroad is included.
About You
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in political science, international relations, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. You have relevant and current experience in preparing cases within an authority or another part of the public sector.
To succeed in this role, you need to have excellent knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form. You also have good computer skills and are comfortable working in the Office suite, especially in Word.
It is advantageous if you have experience working in an international context, for example, at an embassy or within the Government Offices. You preferably have experience in analytical work as well as planning, coordinating, implementing, and following up on larger activities such as fairs, conferences, or other extensive meetings.
Additional language skills beyond Swedish and English are also advantageous, as is a B driver's license.
Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, building relationships, is flexible, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. We also see that you are self-driven, take initiative, and have the ability to plan and organize your work.
