About us
Villa Torsjö is a group home for individuals covered by LSS category 1, meaning individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism spectrum disorders. The residence is particularly suitable for clients who need significant cognitive support and privacy, as well as for clients who struggle to handle excessive stimuli. Many residents are between 25 and 40 years old.
We work according to Humana's three fundamental methods: Low Arousal Approach (LAB), which means we work quietly and preventively, clear pedagogical methods, and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), to explain activities and tasks in a visually clear and structured way. Much of the work involves supporting clients in their personal development, and we utilize motivational interviewing among other techniques.
About the position
We are now seeking a new residential support worker for our operations. As a residential support worker, you will work with individuals who need assistance with their daily living activities. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Providing individual support, care, and service interventions
Planning and conducting activities with the client
Carrying out delegated health and medical tasks
Employment conditions
We are currently looking for an employee for a permanent position, with a six-month probationary period. The position is 100% and working hours are varied, including days, evenings, and weekends.
We apply individual salary setting and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements. The start date for the position will be agreed upon.

As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating. The position of residential support worker also requires patience, flexibility, and responsiveness. To apply for the position, you must have:
Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, or behavioral scientist
Experience from similar operations
Knowledge of low arousal approach and clear pedagogical methods
Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as documentation is a significant part of the work
Driver's license (B)
