At Noa Personal Assistance AB, we are looking for a new star to join our wonderful team outside of Lund.

They need a new substitute who can step in when needed, during sickness, and now during the summer when regular staff are on vacation. This is perfect for you if you want to work a bit extra.

We are currently looking for a warm, engaged, and responsible personal assistant for a lovely 9-year-old boy.

He lives with his mom, dad, younger sister, and younger brother in a home filled with love, laughter, play, and sometimes a lot of mischief.

The boy has a muscle disease (L1), hydrocephalus, and epilepsy, as well as a feeding button (gastrostomy). He receives food by being fed and gets fluids via the button because he does not like to drink on his own.

He uses a corset due to scoliosis, foot orthoses, and various aids in everyday life such as a lift and a standing frame. For outdoor activities, he moves around in a wheelchair.

Indoors, he loves being on the floor where he can roll around, play, and have fun with his siblings. Music, dancing, and water play are some of his absolute favorites and often fill his days with joy.

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in his daily life. The work involves helping with meals, personal care, transfers, stretching according to schedule, as well as participating in play and activities based on his needs and condition of the day. On weekdays, he goes to school from 08:30 to 16:00, where he does not have assistance.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a woman between 20–35 years of age
• Are positive, engaged, and conscientious
• Are flexible and responsible
• Have a calm and secure approach
• Are a non-smoker

Previous experience in personal assistance or working with people with disabilities is meritorious but not a requirement. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

The work takes place in a home with children, which means you need to thrive in a family environment where there is sometimes high tempo, play, laughter, and lively moments.

Due to fur allergies in the family, it is important that you come to work with clean clothes and without pet hair.

Working hours: Evenings (17–22), nights (22–07:35 or 20–08:30), daytime/weekends (08:30–20)
