Your role with us

The tasks primarily consist of providing our customers with:

• Individual support in their activities at the day activity center
• Develop and maintain skills and communication, taking functional variations into account
• Support customers' participation at all levels: individual, group, and societal
• Support customers' self-determination and personal integrity
• Responsible for social documentation according to current guidelines
• In relevant cases, perform medical tasks on delegation from a nurse or assist the customer with self-care
• Act as a contact person and in this role ensure that the implementation plan is created and followed

Who are we looking for?

You have education from the Care and Nursing Program with a specialization in disability or psychiatry, or the Child and Youth Program with a focus on social work or pedagogical work, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience working with people with functional variations is required, as well as experience with clarifying pedagogy. Education in and/or experience with creative arts, music, or technology is an advantage.

Since the work requires communication and documentation, we assume you master Swedish in both speech and writing. You also need computer literacy and the ability to handle digital tools. It is an advantage if you have a Category B driver's license for manual transmission.

You have the ability to work with other people, which means you can listen, show empathy, and respect for those you meet in your work. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward others' contributions. The ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally, is required, and you collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions.

About us

The Care Administration's operations target the elderly and people who need functional support, as well as people in need of home care. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the Assistive Technology Center in Eastern Skåne.

Kristianstad Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
