About the position

We are currently looking for personal assistants who wish to work on an as-needed basis, with the possibility of a permanent schedule, for a woman in Höganäs. Your task is to assist in daily life, which includes assistance with daily routines such as photography, computer work, active participation in the garden, personal hygiene, meals, dressing and undressing, as well as assistance with lifting and transfers.

The working hours are currently scheduled as follows:

• 06:00 - 13:00
• 10:00 - 20:00
• 20:00 - 06:00 (Awake night shift)
• 10:00 - 13:00 (Double assistance)

About the client

You will be working with an active, social, and socially engaged 70-year-old woman. She is self-determining, expresses her wishes clearly, and plans her daily life herself. Therefore, it is important that you have a positive attitude, are flexible, and adapt to her pace to assist her in the best way possible with everything needed to live well.

Her interests include being active on the internet and mobile phone, as well as maintaining continuous contact with her large network. As an assistant, you will help with typing on the computer when she dictates. Additionally, you will assist with interests such as photography, gardening, and cooking. She considers good chemistry to be a prerequisite for a successful collaboration, and that a good work environment is important.

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in the client's security, independence, and well-being.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Attentive and observant: You can learn to interpret the client's needs, while also being willing to ask questions.
• Positive and responsible: You contribute to a good atmosphere and take responsibility for your tasks.
• Flexible and cooperative: You adapt to the client's pace and wishes.
• Respectful of privacy: You have great respect for the client's privacy in her home and learn to sense when it is appropriate to step back.

You will receive an introduction to, among other things, lifting techniques so that you feel secure in your work. Good physical fitness is required as transfers are part of the job duties. We want to emphasize that the chemistry between you and the client is of utmost importance and will be decisive in the final selection.

Requirements for the position:

• Do not smoke during working hours.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech, reading comprehension, and writing.
• Have good physical ability as some lifting and transfers occur.

Qualifications that would be an advantage:

• Experience as a personal assistant or from work in healthcare and social care.
• Driver's license and access to a car to easily get to the workplace.

Scope: Extra as needed, with the possibility of a permanent schedule in the future.

Number of positions: 2.

Start date: By agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position will be filled as soon as possible.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will cover both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be made in good time.
