Become part of our Dreams, Courage, and Opportunities team!

At 9vB, we believe that the most important resource in treatment work is the people who work here. Therefore, we build our operations on trust, responsibility, and participation.

We work based on our core values METAH – Meaningfulness, Engagement, Trust, Responsibility, and Sustainability. This permeates how we interact with young people, collaborate with colleagues, and develop our operations.

Here, there are no ready-made templates for how every situation should be solved. We believe in professional employees who use their knowledge, judgment, and personality to create change. If you have ideas that can improve our operations, we want you to share them – here, you get to influence and make a difference.

We are a small organization with short decision-making paths. This means you can quickly make a difference, both for the young people and for the organization. You will become part of an engaged team where we support each other, give feedback, and develop together.

Job Description

As a therapist here, you work closely with the young people in their daily lives. We believe that treatment does not only happen in a counseling room – it happens just as much when you cook dinner together, exercise, play games, shop, resolve conflicts, or work on a practical project.

You become an important adult in the young people's lives, helping them create structure, develop relationships, and find new strategies for the future.

No day is the same as the other, which is why we are looking for someone who appreciates variety, takes personal responsibility, and enjoys working both relationally and practically.

Among other things, you will work with the following:
  • Building safe and professional relationships with the young people.
  • Planning, implementing, and following up on treatment efforts.
  • Documenting according to current legislation and the organization's routines.
  • Participating in treatment conferences and collaborating with social services, guardians, and other partners.
  • Planning and carrying out activities together with the young people.
  • Cooking, planning grocery shopping, and managing household chores together with the young people.
  • Ensuring the home functions in daily life, which sometimes involves performing practical tasks yourself such as cleaning, laundry, gardening, painting, or minor maintenance.

We see all daily situations as part of the treatment. This is where the young people get the opportunity to practice responsibility, cooperation, problem-solving, and independence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant education such as treatment pedagogue or social worker.
  • Experience working with young people and in treatment-oriented roles.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good communication skills and empathy.

Personal Attributes:

  • Engaged and empathetic.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Flexible and ready to handle challenges.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive work environment with openness and respect.

What We Offer:

As part of our team at Lovisagården HVB, you will have the opportunity to be part of an organization that values your competence and potential. We offer an inspiring work environment where you have the chance to be creative and innovative. We believe in creating a sustainable and meaningful everyday life for both our employees and the young people we work with.

A team of innovators:

When you become part of our team, you will have the opportunity to be a creative and innovative force. We encourage and value your own initiative and responsibility. You will participate in the planning and design of treatment efforts, making every day unique and rewarding.

At our HVB (residential care), you work according to a schedule that includes daytime, evening, night, and every third weekend. You work an average of 4 shifts per week, including one night shift. Of course, we also work on public holidays, major holidays, and inconvenient times.

Start date: After agreement.

Salary: Treatment Pedagogue: 27,500–32,000 SEK. Social Worker: 29,000–35,000 SEK. Plus overtime and on-call allowances.

Wellness bonus: Up to 6,000 SEK per year, based on activity.

Meritorious qualifications:
  • MI (Motivational Interviewing)
  • rePulse
  • Crime as a Lifestyle
  • ÅP (Active Parent Work)
  • 12 Steps
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

We have collective agreements and all insurances.

About Lovisagården HVB

Lovisagården has 5 places in a rural environment with proximity to nature and activities. It is an HVB (residential care) aimed at boys aged 14 to 19 who have early-stage substance abuse, are in inappropriate environments, have committed isolated crimes, experimented with drugs, or exhibit aggressive behavior. They may also have difficulties with boundaries, social relationships, and neuropsychiatric issues.

Overall, for Lovisagården, daily life is not functioning, and there is a lack of strategies and motivation to make it work. First, we assess the needs and then develop the necessary tools and motivate them to start utilizing these opportunities. When the structure and daily life are functioning, there is an opportunity to move on to a more independent alternative.

Located outside Svalöv in a rural setting. A small youth group in a large and pleasant house with proximity to nature and activities.

Through a concrete anchoring in our core values and our ethical approach, we build together the norm and culture that should govern our operations. This norm then serves as the framework for our responsibility and way of working. The work takes place in HVBs in Southern Sweden, primarily Skåne, Open Care in Southern Sweden, and Supported Housing in Skåne.

We simply work very much with our common image of our mission and how we should approach problems or situations. Our work is to create a good norm and culture, which then serves as our guiding star in everyday life. We believe that this drives us to do our best through a strong identification with the organization, through having a shared morality, and that we all get an inherent satisfaction from our work. By organizing ourselves organically, we take advantage of everyone's engagement, competence, and experience. We analyze situations together and create goals and means to reach them through participation. Participation in the staff group, organization, clients, and commissioners is a must for our operations to thrive.
