About the role
As a Family Foster Care Consultant at Humana, you will join a team currently consisting of three employees and a unit manager.
The department works with foster care assignments in collaboration with social services and the prison and probation service. In addition to foster placements, we also offer outpatient treatment. Our office is located in Råå, just outside Helsingborg, and our coverage area includes Skåne, Blekinge, Småland, and Halland.
The role of Family Foster Care Consultant offers great flexibility with the possibility of remote work. We are looking for someone based in or around Helsingborg who can attend meetings at our office when needed.
Your main responsibilities:
Recruit, assess, and train foster families.
Support and guide emergency and foster families in their assignments.
Establish and maintain strong client relationships, as well as ensure continuous written documentation of treatment and supervision efforts.
Coordinate cases involving combined foster placements and outpatient interventions.
Work both collaboratively within the team and independently, taking ownership of your own cases.
Participate in on-call duty (evenings and weekends may occur).

You are stress-resistant, organized, and comfortable managing multiple processes simultaneously, even during high-pressure periods.
Duration/Working hours:
Permanent position, 100%, trust-based working hours. A 6-month probationary period applies. Start date: according to agreement.

Requirements for this position:
A degree in Social Work (socionom).
A valid B driver’s license and a comfort with driving, as the role involves regular travel to our foster families.
The following qualifications are a plus:
Experience in assessing, training, and supervising foster families, or experience from a clinical/treatment position.
