This is your mission

As a local strategist, you will work, together with your colleagues, on the agency's local needs and workplace issues. Your focus will be on identifying, investigating, and analyzing local needs based on property economic calculations and given conditions. You will plan the agency's internal relocations and be responsible for and lead projects for local needs adjustments.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that the agency's strategic local supply plan is continuously updated and used as a tool to achieve the organization's goals.

You are well-informed and keep yourself updated on laws, regulations, and governing documents within your area of expertise, and through environmental monitoring, you ensure that the agency's premises develop appropriately and in line with the times.

You will exchange experiences with collaborating agencies and participate as a speaker in relevant property forums and preparation groups.

Your placement will be at the headquarters in Solna. Travel within Sweden may occur.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Swedish citizenship
  • Academic education in real estate/economics/project management or other education or experience deemed equivalent by the Swedish Security Service
  • Several years of experience in local and workplace issues
  • Experience in development and change work
  • Experience as a project manager
  • Good IT skills
  • Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
  • Driving license B

The position requires Swedish citizenship.

You who apply may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:

  • Education in Facility Management
  • Experience with local supply programs/systems
  • Experience working with lease agreements and property economics
  • Experience in security-sensitive and/or governmental operations
  • Experience in complex and challenging relocation projects

To fit in the role of local strategist, we are looking for someone who is analytical and communicative, and by seeing the big picture, you have the ability to prioritize the right issues. Furthermore, you are an unpretentious team player who contributes energy and shares your ideas and experiences. You enjoy working in a structured manner and independently organizing and driving your work forward within the framework of the assignment.

In this role, you will have many points of contact and close cooperation with several parties, both within and outside the agency. Therefore, you need to communicate in a responsive manner and be good at building relationships where the client is the focus. The Swedish Security Service also places high demands on security and confidentiality, so we expect you to have a high security awareness.

Employment conditions

Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment at the Swedish Security Service involves placement in a security class. Employment also requires a satisfactory result in the security screening with background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment also entails an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
