About the Role

Ryds Bilglas is rapidly growing within the Car Collision vertical and is looking for a driven individual to take on the role of financial manager for the vertical. In this role, you will be responsible for the team that handles ongoing accounting, year-end closing work, and various administration for several companies within the claims operations. The business area is relatively new for Ryds Bilglas, and although basic processes and routines are in place, a lot is still under development. It is important that you enjoy working with varied tasks in a changing environment where you, together with your team, will be driving the establishment of routines and processes.

As you will lead the team of accountants within the vertical, we would like you to have previous leadership experience and that you enjoy such a role while also being comfortable handling operational tasks.

Your primary responsibilities will include

• Overall responsibility for qualitative accounting that is reported in accordance with the group's timelines for the vertical's companies.
• Lead, support, and coach the team, which currently consists of two accountants.
• Ongoing accounting for one or two of the companies.
• Result analysis at period-end and adhoc analyses as needed.
• Support to our site managers within Car Collision and to our Car Collision manager.
• Drive and coordinate the vertical's budget process together with the Car Collision manager.
• Be proactive from a financial perspective during the start-up/acquisition of new companies within the business area.
• Continuously work with your team on efficiency, harmonization, and improvement of processes and routines.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting. You are used to working independently with ongoing bookkeeping and responsible for year-end closing work. If you also have experience working with inventory accounting, that is welcome. You have experience leading others and are driven by supporting people around you in their development and delivery.

Furthermore, we wish that you

• Have a post-secondary education in economics
• Have a strong interest in systems
• Have good knowledge of Excel
• Have good knowledge of the Office suite
• Are structured and meticulous

Start Date and Scope

The position is full-time with a start date as soon as possible, considering any notice period. Working hours are office hours Monday to Friday with the possibility of flexibility, based on a 40-hour workweek.
