Do you want to work in a beautiful park environment located by Årstaviken, an oasis in the city?
We have been running a special school, daily activities, and children's homes/short-term care since 1958 in the old Manor House with associated buildings.
In our children's home and short-term care, we are open 24/7, and staff have varying working hours, with an emphasis on evenings, weekends, and nights (sleeping on call). Our target group is children and young people with intellectual disabilities and significant care needs. It is a varied, exciting, and challenging job with wonderful colleagues, where you, with security, warmth, and a great deal of patience, make the everyday life and leisure of these children and young people a stimulating but also safe and predictable place.
We are currently facing a change in our administrative work and are therefore looking for a Coordinator who can support and relieve our managers. You will assist with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding of new employees, as well as other minor ongoing administrative tasks on behalf of the manager; the position does not involve personnel responsibility.
To thrive in the role, we believe you have worked a couple of years in care and feel that you have an aptitude for, and interest in, more practical and administrative tasks.
You should have knowledge of the Working Hours Act and other laws regulating working hours, employment, and staffing, and preferably have experience working with digital scheduling and staffing systems; experience with Quinyx is an advantage.
The position is a split role where you will work administratively 50% and in care 50%, so it is of utmost importance that you have good knowledge of the target group, specifically working with children and young people with EP, self-harming behavior, OCD, and autism.
Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, and care work will be distributed so that you work part of the shift in the early morning and/or evening, but not on call/night or weekends.
Good knowledge of documentation systems is a requirement, so you must master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
You should have a basic education in health & care, such as USKA with a focus on psychiatry or disability, childcare education, nursing program, or mental health worker, or other education that the employer finds equivalent and relevant for the position.
If you also have knowledge of TAKK, AKK, and have completed training in and have experience working with low-arousal approaches, we see this as an advantage.
A criminal record extract is a prerequisite for employment.
The positions (2) will be filled as soon as possible, but no later than March 1, and we will call for interviews continuously throughout the advertising period, which means that the positions may be filled before the advertising period has expired. The positions may also be filled through internal recruitment.
If you have questions about the position, you can email [email protected] or call 073-3589257, Salary & HR specialist.
Please email your application consisting of a CV and cover letter to [email protected]
Welcome with your application!
