Start date & scope:

We are looking for someone who can start immediately; early February is preferred, but otherwise according to agreement. The position is adapted to the season when camp is communicated. It runs until October and comprises about 20% employment rate - approximately one day a week.

About us:

The Foundation Children’s Day is Sweden's leading organizer of camp activities and operates Barnens Ö and Fiskeboda. Every year, we welcome over 5,000 children to our approximately 30 summer camps. Our mission is to create a meaningful and safe leisure time for children and young people through camp, LSS camp, and school trips. In addition to camp activities, we also offer rental of our properties to individuals, associations, and schools during the periods when camp is not ongoing.

Our office is located at Odenplan in Stockholm. Here, 11 to 15 employees work depending on the season. In total, we are about 30 people year-round in the organization, and during the summer, around 850 people are engaged in the operations. Together, we create the best days of summer for thousands of children and young people.

Your role:

You will work with our social media and tell about our activities in a credible, informative, and engaging way; filled with camp, community, and joy. Our channels primarily target children, young people, and guardians.

You will create, edit, and publish content in our social channels and have ongoing dialogue with our target audience. An important part of the role is to be present in the operations, especially at camp, where you capture everyday moments and create content directly in the environment, always with the children's best interests in focus.

Since the assignment involves handling personal data related to children, particularly high demands are placed on integrity, judgment, and responsibility. You have a good understanding of GDPR and children's right to personal integrity and ensure that content is handled and published in a safe and correct manner.

The work is carried out independently but in close collaboration with our communicator.
