About the position of Accounting Manager
As an Accounting Manager at NO GA Group, you will play a central role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and future-proof accounting for the group. You will work both hands-on and development-oriented, responsible for quality assurance of accounting, supporting the organization in financial matters, and driving improvement initiatives within processes, systems, and working methods.

You will report to the CFO and closely collaborate with the Finance Manager in the work of further developing the finance function. The group currently consists of 9 companies (in Sweden and internationally), and the group accounting is done according to K3. The role combines operational work with strategic responsibility. You will take ownership of accounting quality, lead the team's daily work, and step in hands-on when necessary in ongoing tasks, such as projects involving the implementation of a new consolidation system.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the accounting team and ensure quality and delivery in daily operations.
  • Oversee accounting, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.
  • Be responsible for group accounting and consolidation across companies according to K3.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain internal control and ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and statutory requirements.
  • Drive process improvements, digitalization, and automation with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
  • Support the organization in accounting matters, explaining deviations and figures to management and the team.

About you

We are looking for someone with approximately 3–4 years of experience in qualified accounting work who feels confident in the fundamentals of accounting. You have preferably been exposed to group accounting and have good technical accounting skills. You are solution-oriented and enjoy working operationally while developing structures and processes. Experience from retail, e-commerce, partnerships, or businesses with inventory is an advantage.

As a person, you are confident, analytical, and structured. You thrive in a changing environment and see changes as opportunities to contribute improvements. You are communicative and pedagogical, explaining figures and deviations to the business in a clear and understandable way. Problem-solving and developing working methods motivate you.

Important for the position

  • Academic degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in qualified accounting, where you have worked both operationally and development-oriented.
  • Exposure to group accounting and consolidation (K3).
  • Confident, solution-oriented, communicative, and structured.
  • Good experience with Business Central.
  • Good system skills and interest in digitalization/automation of financial processes.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious for the position

  • Experience from retail, e-commerce, or inventory management related to accounting.
  • Experience in process improvement, system implementation, or automation.
  • Previous experience in group accounting in an international environment.
  • Previous experience working in a changing and growing organization.
