Description Our client in Stockholm is in an intense growth and development phase where the business is being built up while processes are established and refined. To strengthen the accounting team, they are now looking for an experienced accounting consultant. The role involves a broad assignment focusing on accounting, closing, and further development of the finance function, where the consultant works operationally while having a clear focus on improvement and development. As an accounting consultant, you will be an important link between accounting, business control, and other parts of the organization to ensure accurate accounting, monitoring, and analysis of costs and deviations. The assignment combines individual responsibility within defined areas with close collaboration in a team, where knowledge sharing and joint problem-solving are central working methods.

Responsibilities As an accounting consultant, you will be responsible for ongoing accounting, including reconciliations and accruals, as well as monthly closings and reporting. You will prepare documentation for annual reports and audits and be responsible for reconciliation and declaration of VAT. The role also includes support in internal projects, such as system changes and accounting-related investigations, as well as actively participating in developing, improving, and documenting routines and processes within the finance function.

Qualifications

• Higher education in economics or equivalent relevant experience

• Approximately 5–10 years of experience in similar accounting roles

• Good overall understanding of the accounting flow

• Experience with system changes and a strong interest in systems

• Very good knowledge of Excel

• Good knowledge of K3

• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Experience with fixed assets

• Experience working with high transaction volumes

• Comfortable and thriving in a changing environment

Desirable qualifications

• Previous participation in system implementations or internal improvement projects

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA

• Good knowledge of IFRS

Conditions Placement at our client in Stockholm. The assignment is full-time and is expected to last tentatively from March 1 to May 31.
