Värmdö Municipality is now looking for an admissions officer for the Adult Education Unit – a socially important operation where structure, quality, and collaboration are in focus. Your Responsibilities

As an admissions officer with us, you will become a key person in the work with adult education in Värmdö. You will administer and process applications for adult education, which involves reviewing eligibility, placing students at the right level, and administering digital tests. The role includes exercising authority, managing IKE, developing routines, and improving the admissions process. You will collaborate both internally with colleagues and externally with cooperating municipalities and educational providers, as well as monitor regulatory changes and propose implementation. In this role, you will, among other things:

• Administer and process applications for adult education, including eligibility review
• Administer digital level tests and place students at the right level
• Inform applicants and educational providers
• Manage IKE and exercise authority
• Develop routines and improve the admissions process
• Collaborate with colleagues internally and in our cooperating municipalities
• Continuously monitor regulatory changes and propose implementation
• Conduct environmental monitoring

Your Profile

You are curious, solution-oriented, and have the ability to plan, organize, and develop your work, both individually and in collaboration with others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, as well as the ability to make qualified assessments with a focus on legal security.

We would like you to have:

• A completed academic education in pedagogy or another education that the employer deems suitable
• At least 2 years of experience in adult education or similar operations, municipal or private
• Experience working within SFI
• Good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
